The water-court resume watch

Every month, each of Colorado's seven water courts publishes a resume — the official list of new water cases filed that month. The resume is legal notice: a filing that could affect your water right is considered announced once it appears there, and the window to file a statement of opposition closes on a court deadline roughly two months out. Water lawyers read resumes for paying clients every month. Volunteer ditch secretaries almost never see them. So each month, DitchBook matches all seven resumes against the 1,390-company census and publishes which companies were named — by whom, in which case, with a link to the court's own document.
